Would you like to see your work here on the National Gamers Guild? Below are some guidelines on how you should prepare your piece. Submissions are required for Membership in the National Gamers Guild. ARTICLES - No 'slam' articles please. Articles should be informative or helpful in some way. REVIEWS - Reviews should be done with taste. We prefer in-depth reviews. If we already have a review of a product that you wanted to do, send yours in too! ESPECIALLY if it differs from the view that we have previously printed. NOTE- do not use any part of the previous review though or refer to it in any way! Some people ask "how should I write it?". My only answer is this - write it as you would tell it to a friend! Use your enthusiasm, your passion! Write it how it feels! If it stinks though, please explain why. Don't just write 'it sucks' in as many ways as you can think. It is a good idea to view these guidelines before submitting work as these guidelines may change. You can either type your submissions in an email format, or you can attach the piece to an email. Please use file types that can be accessed in Microsoft Word (there are a lot). If you are unsure, then send as a .txt file. You must notify us as to what name you want to use when you submit work. You can use your real name or a pen name. We prefer that you use only up to two different names and no more. If you want to write the intro to your piece, go ahead! No guarantee if we will use your intro, though. We now have an official rating system. Please submit your reviews with a rating according to the system below: The NGG rating system is
as follows: Submissions are to be sent to:
, or All work submitted to the NGG can be used freely by the NGG. All work must be original. Please remember to give us the name that you would like to publish your work under. If no name is given, it will show "Anonymous" for the credit. |
