I came up with this idea for damage results that took a character's HP's under zero (0). This will make it feasible for a character to go under 0 HP's and still live, though there may be some serious problems. Some people game that when you hit 0 that you are dead, some unconscious. This works out pretty good because 0 means the character is knocked out (unless a class or race ability says otherwise) and they will remain that way for a random amount of time. However, if they slip to -1 or less, every turn they will slip further into death losing 1 point every round. Feel free to modify these as you see fit for your gaming session.
* = If a magical potion is used, roll % dice; 01-40 = potion works. 41-00 = patient chokes on potion.
