Rury
D&D 3rd Edition

The Rury are an ancient race that is near extinction. There are little under 20 left in the world due to the excessive hunting of them a long time ago for their hearts, which turn into the richest gold imaginable when killed, valued at 10,000 gold pieces. The Rury are very secretive and wish to be left alone but if they are somehow forced to work with others then they are somewhat pompous. A Rury never kills unless their or someone else's life is in danger.
